New Patient Information
Welcome to Total Women’s Health of Baltimore! Thank you for choosing us. We are pleased to participate in your medical care. Our goal is to provide you with the most comprehensive medical care possible.


Scheduling, Cancellations, No-Shows
You can schedule all appointments through our front desk at (443) 471-3288. If you need follow-up care, please schedule your appointment as soon as possible to have the best appointment options.
We place reminder calls 1 to 2 days prior to your appointment. Please keep your contact information with us updated. We recognize that there are situations that may cause patients to reschedule. Please call us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a $25.00 no-show fee.
Information Necessary For Your Visit
You must bring all current insurance cards and your photo identification to each visit.
We request your co-payment at the time of your visit. Please be prepared to pay that amount. Acceptable methods of payment are checks, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. We do not accept cash.
Test Results, Telephone Calls, Messages
Pap smear and culture results can take up to 10 days. If you have not heard from the physician after 10 days, your test results are normal. The physician will call you if any results require further attention. Athena has a patient portal where you can also review any resulting labwork or pathology reports. We use LabCorp and you may also link to their portal to view any resulting labs.
Our medical receptionists triage all messages. We attempt to return all phone calls within 24 hours. For any medical emergencies, please call 911. We only share your information with people you have designated as contacts on your “Release of Information” consent form.
Prescription Refills
We gladly accept faxed refill requests from your pharmacy. Please allow 24 hours for us to fulfill these requests. We don’t accept refill requests after 12 noon on Friday, during weekends, or on holidays. Please plan accordingly.
To receive a refill, patients need to have visited our office within the last 12 months.
